I'd love to get to know you better!  Feel free to drop me a note anytime!

Newborn sessions would always make me nervous in the past because I dont have children and quite frankly, I felt like I was going to “break” the baby! However, the more I work with children, the more newborn sessions are starting to become something that I really enjoy!!  Baby Tripp is no exception to that!!  I have been looking forward to his arrival ever since Alex told me that she was expecting a little one!  You can imagine how excited I was when she asked me to take his newborn shots!

I have been holding newborn sessions in the comfort of the family’s home.  Believe it or not, it has been so much more convenient for the family!  I bring what I need to shoot with and simply find the window with the best lighting!  Everything the family could need for their sweet bundle of joy is there, they don’t have to carry 100 bags to come and have their picture taken, and it gives mom and dad a chance to finish getting ready while I work on images of the baby!  Win win for everyone!

George David Jones III “Tripp” was born September 18th.  We scheduled the session for the week after he was born.  Tripp was so easy to photograph!  He slept through his entire session and that is exactly what we want!! A sleepy baby is a relaxed baby and that means that I am able to take my time with gently posing him to get the right shots!  After spending the first half of the session working on simplistic close up images of Tripp, we then went to the local firehouse to finish the session!!  Tripp’s daddy is a fireman at the Westmoreland County Volunteer Fire Department so of course it was only necessary to take a few shots of Tripp there!!  This was my first time working with fireman’s turnout gear for these shots, but I was so pleased with the results!

I know that Alex and David are overjoyed having this little one in their lives and I am so happy for this new chapter in their life!
