I'd love to get to know you better!  Feel free to drop me a note anytime!

The first word that comes to mind when I think about this session is vibrant!!  The second word that comes to mind- is cold!!!

Miranda contacted me very early in her pregnancy to book her maternity session!  We changed her session location + time quite a few times from ideas of a snowy session, to a sunset beach idea, to then settling on her session being at her grandmothers home.  I loved that we were having this session at a place so near + dear to Miranda’s heart!

When her session date arrived, it was mid February and the wind was blowing like crazy, making the chilly temperatures even colder than we imaged.  (A daily high of 25 degrees!!)

I arrived to her grandmothers home that afternoon and was warmly invited inside.  I had arrived before Miranda, but her sweet grandma was more than kind as she invited me inside to sit + talk until we were ready to start the session!  Miranda soon arrived + I was immediately stunned- in a totally good way!!  She is obviously a very pretty person, but pair that with her long flow royal blue maternity dress + those bright blue eyes- yup, I knew this was going to be a great session!!

The wind was whipping that day, but Miranda was such a trooper hanging in there with me!!  We took periodic breaks inside her grandma’s warm home in between shots to thaw our fingers out + then were back at it again!!

Let me just say that it was all so worth it!!  I adore Miranda’s gallery!!  Not only are these some of the most vibrantly beautiful images, but they were taken in good company because Miranda is just as sweet as they come!!  I adored being able to share this moment with her + capture these images during her last few months of pregnancy.  Baby Jax is one lucky little boy + I can’t wait to watch as her life blossoms as she + her husband welcome their little man into the world!
