It always shocks me a little when someone says that they’re being gifted a session with me.  It catches me off guard a bit because Im still a little like “Me??  You’re being gifted a session and you chose me?!” haha.  That was the case with Caroline!  This was her first mothers day and all she wanted was with a session to capture beautiful images of she and her daughter Isabelle!  I was seriously so honored that she trusted me to document this season of their life for her!!

Isabelle and Henley are close to the same age, so I really enjoyed chatting about all things mommy and baby related with Caroline since we are in such similar stages with our baby girls!

We decided to meet on a beach that I’ve shot at multiple times before.  It catches great afternoon lighting and is pretty secluded every time I’ve been there.  Well, much to my surprise, when I arrived that afternoon, the beach was packed!!!  We had to walk a right good ways down the beach in order to find an open spot where we wouldn’t be crammed between beach towels and bbqs!  Crowded or not, we still made the absolute best of our time together at the end of the beach where the sand meets the cliffs of Westmoreland County.

Isabelle was so content in her mommas arms throughout the session and she was all giggles when she was near her daddy!  It was the sweetest thing to witness!!  I am so happy to have worked with your beautiful family, Caroline!!  Thank you so much for choosing me to capture these images in celebration of your first mothers day!!
