If theres one area of my businesses that pulls at my heart strings and brings me a little more joy than I imagined, its being able to watch families and children grow through the images of multiple sessions.

Hallie is a perfect example of that!!  Carrie reached out to me when she and Steven first brough Hallie home.  She arrived a bit earlier than expected, so we photographed her newborn session once they were home and settled.

You can imagine my excitement when Carrie reached out to me again for Hallie’s one year photos!  I hate to say that I hadn’t seen this sweet family in person the entire year since their newborn session, but that just made me even happier to see them soon!

Unfortunately, we then had to reschedule this session due to bad weather so many times that I honestly lost count!! haha.  However, when we finally were able to shoot together the sun was shining and the breeze was blowing and it was just a beautiful morning!

Hallie’s “bun bun” made an appearance in some of the photos, but I kind of love it because this is the season that Carrie and Steven are in!!  This is their little girl that sure loves her “bun bun” at this age!  She has grown so much over the last year and I feel so honored to capture that growth through these sweet sessions.
