I’m so happy to share this wedding with you all today! This was our final wedding of 2020 and it was such a gorgeous one!! Kristen and Blaine were married at Roanoke Farm in Heathsville, Virginia. The crisp fall leaves had peeked and it was absolutely beautiful, but we also were surprisingly graced with summer temperatures that day!
I remember thinking back to Kristen and Blaine’s engagement session and how there really is a perfect match for everyone out there. These two have personalities that can easily banter back and forth to each other, but can also snap into a sweet, loving moment in an instant.
I knew it was going to be a gorgeous day from the moment I arrived at Roanoke Farms. The owners are always full of hospitality and so warm in their welcome. We got Kristen into her gown inside the home that already holds generations worth of history before taking her out front with the Fall leaves to see her groom for the first time. Their dog, Rip, happily joined us for portraits before their bridal party came to their side. The ceremony was short and sweet – but every bit as intentional, heartfelt, and meaningful as it could have ever been. Family portraits finished just in time to catch sunset portraits of the bride and groom in the most gorgeous warm, golden light! The reception featured a full dance floor and the sweetest toasts from their closest friends as they talked about the kindness and loyalty that had just been joined together in marriage.
It was honestly the most perfect day for these two sweet people!! So many of my favorite images are featured below!
