Its going to be funny sharing this session full of lush greenery in the middle of winter and thats totally my fault for being so behind on the blog!  Its been a whole new world getting into a routine of being a “work from home mom” but here we are catching up as I share more from my amazing clients!!!

With that being said, I am so happy to share Layne and Tyler’s engagement session with you!!!  Layne is the sister of one of my 2017 brides and I was so happy that Layne wanted to work with me after loving her sister’s gallery!

I traveled all the way to Hollywood, Maryland for this session and it was actually my first out of state session!  There was something so exciting and adventurous about my first session in another state and it lit a fire inside of me to allow this business to encourage more travel in our lives.

We shot Layne and Tyler’s session on his families land with a rustic old barn, tall grasses, and amazing afternoon lighting.  These two were naturals in front of the camera and I loved their outfits which were perfect for the transition into early fall!  We also incorporated Tyler’s guitar into a few shots and I loved having that personalized aspect in their session!

Their sweet pup joined us towards the end of the session and that always brings such a new fun, high energy vibe to the session!!  We ended the afternoon just as the sun peeked below the trees and I made my way back to Virginia after hugs to the happy couple!  Layne and Tyler, thank y’all so much for allowing me to document this time in your lives!!  Congratulations!!
