I'd love to get to know you better!  Feel free to drop me a note anytime!

I’m a few days later in sharing this blog post than I originally hoped, but thats because I wanted to make certain that I wasn’t rushing this blog and that Lindsay and Paul’s wedding day was displayed in a way that would truly embody the happiness that was shared.

As I sit here this morning drinking my coffee and thinking back to their special day, I’m remembering how perfectly in tune their wedding day was with their personalities.  It was evident during their engagement session that Lindsay and Paul aren’t flashy people… It was evident that they find joy in simply being together.  It was also evident that a simple smile in the others direction could light up their faces like never before.  Thats what I loved so much about their sunflower themed back yard wedding.  It was simple and so very much true to their love.

They shared the celebration of a backyard wedding with their family and closest friends that day.  It’s the home where they’ll start their life together and the home where they’ll create memories for years to come.  I think its just magical that they’ll be able to walk out to their yard any given day and stand in the exact spot where they vowed forever to each other.

These two were awesome during their engagement session, but there was an ease that they had in front of the camera this time around.  It may have been because the ceremony was about to begin soon, or maybe it was because they were so comfortable being at home.  I like to think that it was because these two are so truly and desperately in love that they felt nothing but joy on their wedding day.  I certainly know that joy I witnessed came across in camera as well and I am just so happy that I was there to document the start of this new chapter for them.

Lindsay and Paul, thank you so much for having me this weekend to celebrate along side you and capture such a special day.  Enjoy your honeymoon this week and know that I wish y’all so much happiness to come!!
