Oh boy I am excited to share todays blog with you!!!!!!!
Maddie and Brandon’s wedding was my first of the season this year and it exceeded every expectation I could have had!
As always, I approached their day with the highest goal of showcasing their relationship and honoring their story through gorgeous images. I know what an honor it is to play this role in my couples lives, so it only made sense that Maddie and Brandon’s love story be at the heart of every photograph I shot that day. It’s one thing to be educated in finding the right light to create the best images, and it’s one thing to know how to create confidence in front of the camera, but when you combine that knowledge with purpose for your couple on the biggest day of their lives- magic happens, y’all and Maddie and Brandon’s wedding day was pure magic!!!
The day began with a fluffy gown, sparkling diamonds, pastel petals, and blush tones that made my detail oriented self even that much more excited. While the day started long before the first look, my heart began to melt a little bit from that moment on. The look on Brandon’s face as he awaited his bride showed every ounce of excitement and anticipation. The happiness that radiated from him as he turned around was one of my favorite moments that day.
We jumped right into portraits after that and the history of every moment leading to this day shined through their interaction together while their love was beautifully on display! They held each other tight, shared genuine smiles, and then shared even bigger laughs as we welcomed their bridal party for portraits before the ceremony.
Maddie and Brandon soon vowed forever under two large Magnolia trees with all of their closest friends and family watching before walking into their reception hand in hand to celebrate. It was a moment that Brandon had waited for his whole life and Maddie had been praying for. Laughter and joy rang above the music. The night was full of dancing, some of the most humorous and heart felt speeches, toasts with God centered in the wisdom of each word, and a sparker exit to congratulate the happy couple one last time.
Maddie and Brandon- your wedding was so very special. Every moment, every detail, every smile and ever joy filled tear was a true honor to be a part of. I am so beyond happy for y’all and I hope you know that I wish you all the very best that happiness has to offer as you center your marriage around your faith and walk into your future hand in hand. All my love to you guys!!! 🙂
