Well, today’s blog is kind of exciting because not only am I sharing Amanda + Sean’s engagement session today, but then I am sharing their wedding images tomorrow!!!
After their original photographer fell through, Amanda was referred to me by a family member just a few months before their big day! Between such busy schedules with wedding plans, business bookings, and normal life we had a difficult time between the three of us finding a date to fit in their engagement session. Since the e-session is so beneficial, I definitely was up for fitting them in whenever we could make it work! Even if that meant that we shot their session just the week before their wedding day!!!
The couple was planning a wedding at the Hanover Tavern, so they loved the idea of having their engagement session at Crump Park in Hanover, Virginia. The history, the wide open spaces, and the look of the old home that stands the grounds were all appealing in having their session there!
The weather that was so perfect!! The warmth from the sun paired perfectly with Amanda’s royal blue dress + the “almost married” smiles that these two shared. We chatted about their love story which was years in the making. We talked about their work + personal lives + a details of their upcoming wedding day. I absolutely loved getting to know these two + it was not only fantastic to work with them that afternoon, but it was even better to be able to see them a few days later!!
Take a look at my favorites from their session below + check back in tomorrow for a peak at their wedding gallery!!!
