I'd love to get to know you better!  Feel free to drop me a note anytime!

I am SO SO Excited to be sharing this post with y’all today!  Its been along time coming and today is the daayyy!!!!  First of all- let me just say that I appreciate your grace and patience as I’ve navigated through blogging (inconsistently) this year.  I did it when I could, but more often than not I chose grace with myself over guilt of trying to do all the things all the time.  So, for your patience and acceptance of that I am grateful!  Now that my wedding season is finished for the year, Im hoping to get more blogs up for y’all to see all the lovely people Ive gotten to work with this year!!  BUT!  For now!!  Todays blog is a super special one!!

Its 2018-2019 Abby Hudson Senior Spokesmodel Team introduction daayyyyy!!!!!!   AH!!!!  Yall, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to top last years team because they were so amazing, but this years team has lived up to every expectation I could have hoped for!!

Applications for the 2018-2019 school year opened in early January with plans to stay open until the end of January.  After only a week and a half, I had received FOUR TIMES AS MANY applications as the year prior!!  It was amazing y’all and was such a blessing that Im still mind blown over!  After receiving so many applications so early on, I ended up making the decision to close applications early.  It was a hard choice to make, but I felt like it was the best option for the situation!

I received applications from all around the Northern Neck and beyond.  It was beautiful to see so many gals from all over be excited to work with me as part of their senior experience.  Reading through the applications as they came in was on of my favorite things because I felt like I really got to know each and every applicant on a deeper level.  From family to friends and hobbies and extracurricular activities that blew me away, it was so fun to put personalities with the faces that had been popping up on my social media feed!

By the end of the month, the team was chosen and I sent an email to their parents to tell them their daughter had been chosen for the team and their surprise acceptance packages would arrive in the mail soon!  One by one, each team member began posting their opened packages on social media and the excitement really set in at that point!!  The team was official!!

A few weeks later, we met for the spokesmodel team meet and greet at The Inn of Montross!  They reserved a room for us to gather in and had a table full of sweet treats ranging from brownies and cookies to skittles and tarts to cupcakes and more!  After snacking and mingling, the girls opened their welcome gifts, and then formally introduced themselves to the rest of the group!  I don’t always love to put people on the spot, but I do love that it breaks the ice early and true friendships can quickly blossom from that point on!

We soon headed outside for headshots and this was the first time that each spokesmodel would be in front of my camera!  I found a perfectly in bloom tree just a short walk from the inn and it was the perfect backdrop for these shots!!  I could have shot in that tree all. day. long. but it was awfully cold out that day for mid-spring so we hurried along!  We headed back towards the inn and stopped for a few additional shots and some group shots near the county court house!  You know I had to pop in for a few shots with them because I’m just so happy to have these girls on my side!!

It was the perfect day and I am still so grateful thinking back to it!!  Ladies- your excitement to work with me from the very beginning has been such a blessing.  I am so thankful for each of you and can not wait to see you again soon!!!!  Hugs to you all!!!

I started to write a little something about each spokesmodel, but I quickly realized that I was beginning to say the same thing for each other them so I will say this – Each of these gals has been SUCH A JOY to work with!  I’ve laughed with each other them and gotten to know them all well over the last few months and I am just so blessed to have them a part of the team!!  Now scroll below to meet the team, yall!!!
