If you’e been around for a little while, you may already recognize this couple!!! Their engagement session went live on the blog not too many months ago!
Ashley and Dustin were planning a wedding for April of 2020. Little did we all know it would be just around the time that things started to get a little wild with uncertainty over covid and tighter restrictions began to be put into place.
Ashely and Dustin had a tough decision to make in regards to what was best for keeping their friends and family safe. They ended up being married with a small socially distanced ceremony and moved their big wedding celebration to April of 2021.
I was so honored and grateful that they moved forward with a date that I could still be a part of their celebration. Along with that, they also booked me for a winter photo session for updated portraits!
It was SO GOOD to see them again after so long, to catch up before their wedding day once again, and to get them in front of my camera for a posing refresher before we jump into wedding portraits in the Spring!
They also showed up with a baby gift in hand for me and my family and that brought tears to my eyes! Out of all of the chaos of having to reschedule their wedding, they still were thoughtful enough to celebrate our second baby.
When I say that I have some of the sweetest clients and that clients become friends around here, I mean it with all my heart and Ashley and Dustin are a great example of that! Their April wedding will be my first wedding back after baby Wyatt arrives and I can’t wait to see them again!
Take a peek below with all of my favorites from their winter portrait session at Mt Zion!
