I'd love to get to know you better!  Feel free to drop me a note anytime!

Well friends, this is the first session to be blogged on the Abby Hudson Photography site and I am so excited to share this one with you.  It is a session that is very dear to my heart and it just so happened to be on  the blog schedule for today.  What better session to start the blog off with than one that means a lot to you, right?!

I had the opportunity to work with Josh a few weeks ago for senior portraits.  He is a member of the 2016 Northumberland High School senior class.  He makes good grades and plans to attend CNU next fall.  He is a very active golfer and not only plays during his free time, but also participates with the school’s team.  He was such a joy to work with because he is so full of happiness and is so kind hearted and caring.  He has a really wonderful smile, but he also has the best “model face” that I photographed in a while!!  Aside from those fun facts, let me also point out that he is my baby brother!!!!  Yay!  I am so excited to share these images with you all!

We decided to take his senior photos at a local golf course where he spends a lot of his time.  We met that afternoon and I seriously was ready to cry when I saw him!!  He has grown into such a kind, handsome man!  (I should have warned you to get ready for some big sister swooning and bragging in this post!)

We took a moment at the beginning of the session to chat and catch up, but quickly decided to get started in hopes of not losing the available evening light.  We traveled all over the golf course exploring different areas and stopping whenever it felt right behind the camera.  The weather was pleasant and the gold course wasn’t very busy that afternoon, so we had the perfect setting for a senior session!

Josh’s girlfriend, Kellee, also tagged along with us during his session.  This was my first time meeting her and I have to say, she is fabulous!  She was so giggly and sweet and happy.  I loved having her there with us during the session!  Oh, and do you remember Allison’s beach senior session that I blogged a few weeks ago?  Well, She and Kellee are actually Best Friends!!!

I was so in love with Kellee and Josh together that I insisted on a mini couples session and they were more than excited by the idea!!  I was concerned that we had lost too much of the evening light for these images.  I wasn’t sure if any of them would come out meeting my expectations but oh goodness, was I wrong!!  I feel so thankful to have been graced with such awesome evening  lighting and such a beautiful couple!

We ended the night with dinner plans to spend the night catching up on things we had recently missed in each others lives.  Kellee joined us and the three of us chatted until closing time.  I am so lucky to have spent that evening with Josh and Kellee both.  It was certainly one of my favorite senior sessions to date and of course the one that is closest to my heart.

I can’t wait to see what senior year has in store for these two!!  Take a look below at some of my favorites from this session!
