Senior portraits are on of my favorite types of sessions to shoot.  There’s just something so rewarding in making my senior clients feel amazing in front of the camera and I absolutely love to create images where their personalities shine bright!!  That may be one of the reasons that I loved Hannah’s session so much (aside from the fact that she’s stunning, of course)!!

Hannah is one of my senior spokesmodels and I love what she adds to the team!  She has a very edgy style and I absolutely love that about her!  I am also friends with her sister so when I initially saw her again (even as a teenager) I still couldn’t get that young version of Hannah out of my mind… That was until I got her in from of my camera for the first time at the spokesmodel meet and greet and it was obvious that she is such a strong woman with such a sense of determination and drive.

Needless to say, I was so excited to work with her again for her personal senior session.  As we began chatting about her session, it was obvious that we were quite limited in our small town to find a location that was going to result in images that represented her well.  Having her senior session in Downtown Fredericksburg on the other hand, now that was a perfect fit!!

I’ve shot in Downtown many times before and its always my favorite.  Knowing Hannah’s personality and style, I really wanted to take it a step further and find some locations that I hadn’t shots before where she could absolutely shine the most.  We perused the streets together that afternoon and I learned just how gorgeous a simple brick wall down an ally can be when you’ve got the right person in front of it!

Hannah started her session in black boots and an oversized t shirt- a look that not all of us could pull of and yet she looked like a million dollars!!  After that she changed in a great jumpsuit, followed by high waisted jeans a black tank and heels at sunset!

Side note- I had purchased a jumpsuit months before then and had always been too afraid to wear it because it wasn’t a typical item in my wardrobe.  Thanks to Hannah’s outgoing style, I decided that her session would be the perfect one to get adventurous with- so I wore my jumpsuit knowing that she wouldn’t judge me, I feel in love with my jumpsuit, and I have worn it as often as possible ever since!! haha!  I also was terrified that it would rip being only one piece of fabric, so I also may or may not have brought an extra pair of cloths with me just in case! ha!

I love Hannah’s session so so much.  She had me laughing a majority of the time and it was so easy to talk with her.  My absolute favorites from her session are below!!

Part 2 of Hannah’s session featuring her long time boyfriend, Garrett, will be featured on Monday morning!
