I'd love to get to know you better!  Feel free to drop me a note anytime!

Looking back to a beautiful 2018 wedding and I’m so excited to finally share Elaine and Tommy’s Northern Neck waterfront wedding with you! If you’re local to the Northern Neck, then theres a 99% chance you’re familiar with Lewisetta Marina and if you know the marina then you know the sweet family that owns it! They are SO welcoming and SO genuinely sweet. When their daughter Elaine reached out to me about photographing her and Tommy’s wedding I was absolutely overjoyed!!

Their engagement session did not disappoint and one of those images in particular is still my favorite to this day. (That entire session will be shared soon!!) With those beautiful images in mind, I was really excited to begin shooting on their wedding day! I initially arrived at Elaine’s parent’s house on the marina. Elaine had just sat down for make up with hair soon to follow and her bridesmaids were buzzing around preparing for the day ahead.

After photographing bridal details, I headed to meet Tommy and his groomsmen for a few shots! Soon back at the marina, we got Elaine into her dress! Her mom was overcome with emotion seeing her baby girl in her wedding gown! Elaine’s brother had just been married the month before, so I know there were so many big emotions in the household that day with both of their children now being married!

Elaine’s mother helped her put in the new diamond studs that her parents had gifted her as a wedding present. The bridesmaids gathered to love on Elaine sharing in laughter together and soon we were off to the wedding venue! This venue in particular had a straight sight over to Elaine’s family’s marina which made the waterfront view even more meaningful!!

The wind blew hard on the point during the ceremony, but Elaine and Tommy barely seemed to notice in between the smiles they exchanged for each other. A first kiss as husband and wife led way into family formals, bridal party portraits, and bride and groom portraits which all finished just as the sun dipped below the horizon for good. The dance floor immediately opened up and was full the rest of the night! The only exception to that was for the cutting of the cake when Tommy did a full out cake smash on Elaine and she returned the favor before they leaned in for a playful kiss to make up! The two later snuck away from the party at dark and drove off into the next season of their life as husband and wife. All of my favorites from their wedding are below and I can’t wait for you to see!!

Elaine and Tommy- What an honor to be chosen as your photographer! Your wedding was beautiful. You both and your families are so sweet and welcoming. It was an absolutely joy to be a part of this season of your life together and I hope you are LOVING the husband and wife life!! Enjoy looking back through these images of your wedding day!
