We laughed over calling this session an engagement session because the truth is that these two are already married!!!! Ellie and Mark had been planning a mid year engagement session with me ahead of their October wedding. Covid obviously threw those plans into the air, but Ellie and Mark knew they were ready to vow forever to each other sooner than later. They headed up north for an intimate elopement on one of the hottest days of the year and came back to Virginia as husband and wife.

They still wanted to celebrate with friends and family, so they rescheduled their celebration to 2021 and we recently were finally able to meet after months and months of emails!! It was such a joy to finally get to know Ellie and Mark better during this portrait session. They loved every bit of what Maymont had to offer and we spent the afternoon venturing around, chatting and getting to know each other better.

The winds were strong that day but that didnt phase Ellie or Mark one bit! These two were still just as happy as could be and so content together! They were naturals in front of the camera and I can not wait to capture their wedding celebration next year!!
