It’s crazy to me that I get to share this session with you right now. If you go back through my blog from YEARS ago, you’ll find this girls high school senior session and this summer I had the honor of taking her college senior portraits!!! I can’t even believe it and I am so so grateful!!
I remember when she first reached out to me back then and my response was something along the lines of “I don’t really do senior portraits, but I can give it a shot!” Little did I know that that would be a major booking for me years later and I love that I had the opportunity to work with her again now that I know what Im doing!!
I will never forget this session and the weather fiasco we navigated. All day the weather was going backhand forth between rain and sunshine predictions. We finally decided to just go for it and midway through her session a terrible downpour came through. It was raining so hard that I could barely see the road as we drove to her next location! When we arrived however, there was sunshine all around and it was a great afternoon!! All of my favorites from her session and her senior interview are featured below.
Hailee – I know I’ve said it a hundred times but I am so thankful for you! From high school to college, your support in my business means the world. You’re gorgeous in front of the camera and have such a good heart!! Cant wait to see what the future has in store for you!

What School Did You Attend? Ferrum College
Dreaming as high as you can, what hopes do you have for your future after college? I would eventually like to go back to school to get my masters and possibly even my doctorate. I also hope to be the teacher that students really look up to, and possibly be that one teacher that changes their lives.
Tell me about your experience during your senior session! How did you feel? What did you love most? This is the second time I’ve worked with Abby and I had an absolute blast! Abby makes it feel so natural and easy!! I loved Abby’s personality the most because she’s someone that you know you can relax and be yourself around.
What advice do you have for other seniors as they prepare for their senior session? Pick out your outfits at least a week ahead of time, not the night before like me! Also do things that make you feel pretty, like getting your nails or hair done!
