I'd love to get to know you better!  Feel free to drop me a note anytime!

Its been a few weeks since I blogged and I am so sorry about that yall!! It started with our wifi going out through July and most of August for the second year in a row – strange – and then it was followed by a website refresh in the middle of busy season. If Im being honest, I was struggling to keep up with everything! With that being said, blogging has been such a huge aspect in my business and one that I actually really enjoy so I’m ready to pick back up where I left off- and that means its time to share Kate’s senior session!!

I am so excited to share this senior session with y’all today! Kate was the first of my senior spokesmodels to have her full session and boy it’s a good one!

I still remember Kate’s answers to on the senior spokesmodel application when asked “Whats one random fact about you?”. Her answer was that she had 16 horses!

Turns out, Kate’s family runs a horse retirement farm in Burgess called Greenfield Equine Retirement Farm where they house and care for retired horses and bring in horses in need of medical care and attention. Naturally, it was the best idea to have her senior session there to incorporate her and her family’s love for these horses.

That afternoon of her session started out a little cloudy, but that didn’t even matter because Kate’s smile is so, so bright! She started her session in a blue dress that she had been looking forward to wearing for these photos for quite some time, followed by two more casual outfits that she of course looked amazing in it!

Throughout her session, we roamed around the farm taking advantage of each and every background for her photos. That also includes the moment that we walked out into the field and were greeted by 10 different horses at the same time! I’ve got a lot of favorites but those were some on top because I’ll never be able to naturally recreate that photo again and I just loved how social the horses were with us that day!

We ended her session near the water where the sun popped up just in time for the final shots! We brought along her horse for this portion of the session and the images captured during that time were so perfect becuase you’ll see how genuine this girl’s laugh can be when she’s not even thinking about it and its so beautiful to witness!!

My favorites from Kate’s session are below and you can keep up with her and all of my spokesmodels by following me on Instagram @abbyhudsonphoto and the #2018SpokesmodelsOfAHP and #AbbyHudsonSeniors hashtags!!

Oh!  And!!  If you’d like to support Kate’s family’s efforts in caring for these gorgeous horses, you can learn more HERE.
