What better way to start off this week than with a great, country, barn wedding?!
Kimberly and Kyle were married in June on the Hinton farm in Lancaster County. I had shot a wedding there before and we also had their engagement session on the property so I knew there would be so many great portraits from the day!
I started the day in the the couples home that they had just recently built together. We took photos there during their engagement session when only the foundation of the home was there. Now the home was complete and the bride was preparing for the beginning of their forever together as husband and wife within the walls that they had built together.
I started on the details which included her lace, open back gown. I was working in the bedroom with the best lighting when I spotted a mirror tray on their dresser. Kimberly told me that it was actually her grandmothers so of course I incorporated that into a few of the shots!!
The ceremony was later held in the barn where the reception would also be held. The groom walked out with the brightest smile as he prepared for his bride to come down the aisle. The ceremony was short and sweet but still full of so much love. The joy seen woven throughout the couple as they were pronounced husband and wife and Kyle raised his fist high as he just knew that his bride was the the win of a lifetime!
The rest of the day was filled with so many beautiful portraits on the farm, so many sweet hugs from those closest to them, and so much dancing!! I just loved being a part of their wedding day and I am so happy for these two as they embark on this adventure as husband and wife! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Brown!!
