This is a little bit of a throw back because you’ve already seen this sweet couple’s wedding blog, but I wanted to share their engagement session with you too and they say “better late than never”, so here we go!!
This was my first time seeing Liz in years but after rescheduling once for 25 mph winds and once for rain, we had been chatting for quite some time through email and text. All of that to say that even though I hadn’t seen her for so long, I felt like I was going to hang out with a dear friend by the time we actually got to shoot their engagement session!
This session was the best time and I got to see Liz and Scott’s personalities come to life together in front of my camera and I became even more excited about their wedding! We welcomed their pups along for the second half of the session and I know Liz will be the first to tell you that she wishes she had a picture of me balancing on the rocks, posing them, and shooting with one hand while holding their two dogs with my other hand. We were a sight to see that evening! But! You’ll agree that I couldn’t let the opportunity pass to get a few shots on the rocks with just the two of them together! 😉
All of my favorites from our time together that afternoon are below and I’m so excited to share because this was probably one of my favorite sessions at Belle Isle! Liz and Scott- you know I adore you guys!!! Hugs!!!!
