These shorter sessions are perfect for families with young kids. They are also great for documenting a new season or celebration, capturing another year as your kids are growing, or even just because!
Although referred to as "mini", you're actually getting the same experience as a full session!
I shoot fast and efficiently so you can expect images that include a healthy mix of posed and candids!
Because these sessions are on a specific day at a specific location, they are offered at a fraction of the cost of a regular session!
The location changes depending on the season, but it will always be a tried and true location somewhere within the Northern Neck and surrounding areas!

How far in advance do you book sessions?
Mini session dates are announced and booking is launched in January. Sessions are reserved on a first come first served basis, so the sooner you book, the better!!
Frequently Asked Questions
How far do you travel for sessions?
I shoot in the Northern Neck and surrounding areas! Think Richmond County, Essex, Westmoreland, King William, Lancaster, and Northumberland!
Can we travel farther?
I am not available for travel at this time, but all mini sessions will be held at a tried and true location that I know will result in beautiful images!
What do I wear to my session?!
I'll send you my portrait style guide as soon as we book so that you can begin planning your outfits with professional guidance!
Can you help me find someone for hair and make up?
Yes! I've worked with some of the best hair and make up artists in the industry! Just ask and I'll be happy to refer you to them!
Will you help me with posing?
Absolutely! Helping guide you through posing during our time together is part of the experience! You'll be a pro by the time we are finished and it will be so easy and so fun! Trust me!
Can I book a full session instead?
My calendar outside of mini sessions is typically reserved for my senior clients, but if you're interested in a full session let me know and we can discuss potential dates if available.

From engagements to maternity sessions and annual family photos to document your growing family or a "just because" session, these portraits are meant to capture this season of your life before another moment passes by!
