Mitzy and Austin are one of my 2021 wedding couples. When she inquired, the first thing I did was look up their wedding venue and I could not have been more excited to shoot in the mountains, but I could also tell from our first emails that she was going to be such a fun personality to work with!

We were able to fit their engagement session in just in the nick of time before I was off for the holidays followed by maternity leave. I don’t always get galleries turned around in less than 24 hours, but this was a special case that allowed me to do so!

When I arrived that day, I realized that I had no idea what Mitzy and Austin even looked like or what they were driving, but Mitzy greeted me with the warmest smile and most cheerful personality as soon as I got out of my vehicle!

That entire afternoon I felt like I was working with two old friends. Mitzy and Austin are so sweet together, so relaxed in front of the camera, and were a joy to talk with that afternoon. I also got to meet their dog, Pearl, which made the experience even more top notch!

Mitzy and Austin – thank you for bringing me along in this sweet season of your engagement! I can’t wait to work with you again and I know September is going to treat us well for a beautiful wedding day!
