This is a throw back y’all because you’ve already seen this sweet couples wedding on the blog, but I had to share their engagement session with y’all too because I just loved working with Stephanie and Ryan SO much!!!!
We started our time together at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts! This was my first time shooting there and it was so much fun to work somewhere new, but what I adored even more was Stephanie’s choice of a gold, sequins gown!! She was absolutely stunning in every way! (And I can’t leave out Ryan because he looked dapper too!) We wandered around taking advantage of lots of locations around the museum, including one spot in particular that was significant to their relationship together and the early days of dating.
After shooting around the museum, we then headed to their wedding venue for the second half of the session! We shot near the water and all along the golf course of Willow Oaks Country Club. We got to laugh together and I got to know them better than ever before.
After the session, they gave me a quick tour of where everything would be taking place the day of the wedding! It was so exciting knowing that the next time I was there, it would be for them to vow forever to each other!!
After giving hugs and saying our good byes, Stephanie topped off the entire night because she was so thoughtful and gifted me a bag of amazingly delicious Red Velvet filled chocolates and I basically ate half the bag on the drive home. So thoughtful and so sweet (pun intended)!
All of my favorites from their engagement session are below and if you missed their wedding, it was one of my favorites of 2019 and you can view it HERE!
