What High School Do You Attend?
Rappahannock High School
What are you most looking forward to as you enter your senior year?
I am looking forward to living out my senior year with all of my friends and family. It still feels like a dream to actually be graduating this year. I remember walking in to the doors of elementary school on my first day of kindergarten like it was yesterday. It is pretty crazy to see how fast time has gone by and that’ll I’ll be graduating this year. I am just looking forward to taking in all of the moments I usually take for granted.
Dreaming as high as you can, what hopes do you have for your senior year and your future after high school?
I hope to end my senior year with an amazing group of friends and family members that will support me for the rest of the way. I hope to one day attend medical school and fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor. For right now though, I hope to just slowly enjoy my senior year and try to remember all the last memories I’ll have at Rappahannock.
Tell me about your experience during your senior session! How did you feel? What did you love most?
I absolutely loved having Abby as my senior photographer. I honestly wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to take my senior pictures. She makes you feel completely comfortable and she also helps you feel like a model. I absolutely loved how she kept conversation going, and actually deeply cared about our lives and why we chose her as our photographer. She was also very helpful in finding a location for my pictures, and that definitely helped because I was very picky about my location and I loved the one we chose!
What advice do you have for other seniors as they prepare for their senior year?
Live in the moment. It may just be that boring 8:00 class, or the short lunch time with your friends, but you’ll never get to experience these things once you graduate from high school. I have a tendency to rush things to get where I want to be in life. I highly recommend not to do that, and I have worked on it myself this past year. We take too many small moments for granted, and sometimes those are the moments that matter most. Dance at homecoming. Eat lunch with whoever you feel like. Join the club you have been wanting to join. Do what you want to do! Don’t let anyone hold you back. Get yourself involved while in school. It’s the best way to make memories, and do not take those moments for granted.
Taylor!!! What a fun time we had the afternoon of your senior session! I honestly loved working with you so very much and loved how your gallery turned out! You’re gorgeous, girl!! You have also been a joy to have on the spokesmodel team! Cant wait to see you again and hope you soak up every minute of senior year until then! Hugs! – Abby
