Oh you guys, this shoot is so close to my heart for so many reasons!!  Ok, so you probably also recognize this family if you’ve been following my photography journey over the last year!  I photographed their engagement session last summer, then their wedding in September, and their maternity session this past May!!  Not only are The Fox’s returning clients of AHP, but Chelsey + I are also wonderful friends and have been since we were in middle school!  

We decided to have this shoot at their home- just like we did with their engagement photos!  They live on a gorgeous little piece of property with barns scattered throughout, surrounded by fields, and home to many cows, chickens, and ducks!!  I absolutely love that we have been able to have their sessions here since the location holds so much meaning to their hearts!!

So, lets start by talking about the fact that I am obsessed with tall grass… Add great lighting to the tall grass and you can believe that there will be a gravitational force that draws me in closer… Now lets add my childhood best friend in a long flowing pale blue dress… then add her family to the picture… Yup, I seriously am in love with this session and everything about it!!!

Now, of course I love these images, but there’s something even more special about this session being featured today!!  Cooper Dylan Fox was born June 17th at 12:31 am!  Chelsea + Carlie chose not to find out the sex of their little bundle of joy before delivery.  Their oldest son thought it was going to be a girl, but sure enough Chelsey knew better and now she has three boys at home stealing her heart every day!!

I am so beyond happy to witness such growth of a family in a years time and to document so much of it!  From engagements to babies, oh my heart is just so overjoyed for The Fox family.  My favorites from their session are below and just wait until you see the last shot- It still makes me swoon a bit when I look at it- full of joy + so much wonder of the near future!!
