I'd love to get to know you better!  Feel free to drop me a note anytime!

This was SUCH a fun session y’all and one that I just adored from the moment that we began planning it.  I’ll never forget the first time that Leslie reached out to me.  She basically said that she had been following my work for a while, loved the images I was producing, had heard rave reviews from everyone she asked, and wanted to get on my calendar for a session.  As if that was already a dream to hear, she also followed that up with telling me that there was no rush because she knew that mom life and owning business was a lot.  I could have almost cried because I was so thankful for everything that she was saying!!

Flash forward to when their session date arrived- they had the best outfits and the most perfect sunset!!  But thats not the only reason I loved their session.  Truth be told- I had entirely too much fun during our time together.  I was so entertained getting to know their two sons that were balls of excitement and fun energy.  Yall have to remember that my little girl is bashful around new faces, so to be photographing two boys that had no trouble warming up to me was a lot of fun!  They ran along the beach, played in the sand, played with sticks, had tickle fights, and they even hoped into the water for a few shots at the end.  I loved getting to know Leslie and Allen better during our time, as well.  It was one of those sessions where I felt like I was photographing friends from the very start.  These two were absolute pros at making their boys laugh well for the camera no matter what the cost and it was just so much fun to photograph them all genuinely enjoying the time they were together.

We ended the session just as the sun went down and I knew that there was gold in my camera that I could not wait to share with their family.  I would rather capture images of families playing together and being themselves than stiff poses any day, so I especially loved the energy that the Garland family brought to their session.  As I looked back through these images for today’s blog, I remembered just how perfectly their session reflect the joy they have together and I am so grateful that I was able to capture these for their family.

Leslie and Allen- thank y’all SO much for trusting me to document this season of your life.  Your boys were awesome that day and I have absolutely love keeping up with your family through social media!!  Im so grateful for y’all!
