This year was my second time working with Tracy and her boys and I loved it just as much as the first time!!!  Each year, Tracy and her family take a week long vacation and for the last two years I’ve gotten to photograph them while they were vacationing!!  What better way to be fully relaxed with sun kissed skin for your photos than to have the session while you’re vacationing?!?!

This year I traveled to Mathews County for their session.  I had no idea what to expect of the location that we had to work with, but I was up for the challenge!  As I drove to meet them, I was pretty sure that I was heading into the middle of nowhere.  Nothing but marshland surrounded each side of the road and there wasn’t much else as far as the eye could see.  Little did I know until I drove further, that they had booked their own little slice of paradise for the week!!

Just outside of the house, there was a white sandy beach right on the bay.  It was the end of the beach where there weren’t many homes around which meant that it was super private that afternoon.  We had the entire beach to ourselves for the boys to run around and have some fun during the session!  We also had amazing sunset lighting so it was really a perfect session!!

I can’t believe how much her children had grown, but I also love so much that I got to capture those changes and that growth for two years in a row.  How special to constantly document milestones for my sweet sweet clients?!  We also of course captured a few photos of Tracy and her husband together and those made me smile so much!!
