Tiffany and Kevin were one of my wedding couples this year and I just adored them from the moment I meant them!  We booked their engagement session for less than a month away from their wedding date but I kind if loved that because the posing was still so fresh in their minds on their wedding day!  

Their wedding gallery will be shared Monday, but for now- the engagement session!!!

The day of their session arrived and it was sunny and warm outside.  As I began driving closer and closer to the session location, the sky got darker and darker until finally the heavens opened up and we had a serious downpour!!  Gotta love those pesky summer thunderstorms that pop up out of no where!!

We decided that since we were all already at the session location, we would wait it out and hopefully grab a few shots while we were there.  We thought we were in the clear several times in which we would walk out to where we were to begin the shoot, I would get set up and ready to take the first picture, and then it would begin rain again!!  

As we waited out the storm, we took the time to get to know one another and I loved learning about their wedding plans, their lives, their jobs, their love story, and their son!!  

When the rain had finally passed and the sun made its appearance, we were actually GLAD that the storm had come through!!  Sounds strange, I know!  But the storm had brought upon a huge wave of humidity that blanketed the beach almost like a fog.  

Add the bright rays of sunshine to the mix and the lighting that day in their images was something I would never be able to recreate again even if I hoped for it!!  The lighting, the brightly colored outfits, the love that these two share, and the brilliant smiles that they exchanged are some of my favorites!!
