What better way to start the week than with a dose of some serious little person cuteness?! I had planned to share these guys on the blog last week but then life happened and I chose work-life balance over having the perfect blog schedule (A decision that I highly recommend for anyone that is in in the same boat some days)
The Cutright family wanted to do a session with all of the young cousins together to give as a gift to their family for Christmas. We planned for the weekend before Christmas and it just so happened to be one of the chilliest days that we had experienced so far in December. With the low temperatures, wind chill, and five children under the age of six, I was ready to make this session as a quick one in hopes of not getting anyone sick! Luckily, not only did we find great lighting very quickly, but the kids were also on their best behavior!!!!
Between learning about numbers and letters at school to learning how to talk and walk, each of these sweet little ones are in different stages of life! Did we get the perfect picture with all five kids looking directly at the camera with a smile?? No. But here’s the truth that I try to make obviously through every blog- its ok to not have that picture of all the children staring at the camera because thats not the true season of life that these families are experiencing.
Capturing images that show each child’s shinning personality and curiosity is something so remarkably rewarding… I love documenting these moments and I hope that families are able to look back on the gallery of their children and smile at the beauty of their life. Below are my favorites from my time with these sweet children!
P.S. For those of you that don’t know, the little girl in the teal shirt and the brown fringe boots is my niece!!! Just had to throw that out there!! {smile}
